Davao Crocodile Park

The Davao Crocodile Park is a major tourist destination in Metro Davao. It is located at the Riverfront, Corporate City Diversion Highway, Ma-a Davao City and is about 15-30 minutes from downtown of the city.

It does not only serves as a destination for tourists who want to encounter wildlife but also serves as an avenue for students and lay people alike in learning in the importance of wildlife in the diversity of life.

While the park is focused on crocodile farming, it also showcase various exotic animals such as various types of reptiles, monkeys, birds, bearcats, snakes and ostriches. It is one of the many places where you can encounter Davao City's rich heritage of flora and fauna.

Buenavista Cave

Buenavista Cave is located at Brgy. Buenavista, Hiklop Island, Surigao del Sur and can be reached by boat from the mainland for about 20 minutes. 

It has a huge opening with ceilings curtained with dry and blackened stalactites. The interior stones in the chamber depicts illusions of a king's castle. With a king's throne in the innermost chamber where the highlight of the cave is situated, which is a pond. It also has a king's crown and it bears a stone resembling the Blessed Virgin Mary.


Longest Wooden Footbridge


The longest wooden footbridge in the Philippines can be found in Brgy. Cantiasay, Surigao. It ranges up to 391 meters and connects 2 islands of Nonoc and Hanigad.

Nonoc Island can be traveled via motor boat in less than an hour and took a good walk of about a kilometer from Brgy. Nonoc to reach Brgy. Cantiasay where the bridge interconnects. 

The bridge serves as a means for the high school students of Hanigad island to get to their school in Nonoc and for the elementary students of Nonoc island for the same reason.
